Chronic driver shortages plague the transportation industry, but a new startup has answers to ease carrier woes. STAYMetrics came to Innovation Park at Notre Dame in January to develop a business model that will customize programs for better recruiting and retention of drivers. 

Cofounders Tim Hindes and Kurt LaDow bring more than 40 years of transportation expertise to their new venture.

“We were immersed in the industry for 40-plus years, so we thought it was time to start our own company,” Hindes said. “We’re confident our business plan is really going to take off.”
